Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) explains what you may and may not do when using S.EE (“we”, “our”, “us”). This AUP forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

S.EE provides URL shortening, redirecting, link analytics, and sharing tools. This AUP exists to protect users, visitors, and our infrastructure from abuse.

2. Prohibited Content & Activities

You must not use S.EE to create, host, distribute, or facilitate access to content or activities that are unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive, including:

  • Pornography or adult-oriented material
  • Gambling
  • Financial scams, phishing, fraud, impersonation
  • Malware, virus distribution, botnets, spyware
  • Political extremism or organized disinformation
  • Violence, hate speech, terrorism promotion
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized redistribution
  • Pyramid schemes or deceptive marketing practices
  • Unauthorized resale of the platform or accounts
  • Automated high-risk or harmful traffic generation
  • Bulk spam distribution (including unsolicited SMS, messaging, or email campaigns)
  • Any activity that degrades platform stability or security

We may update these categories to maintain platform integrity and user safety.

3. Industry & Use-Case Rules

Cryptocurrency

We support cryptocurrency-related websites only when the user’s country/region allows the activity under applicable law. If cryptocurrency activity is illegal or restricted in the user’s country/region, it is not permitted on S.EE.

Prescription Drugs

Links that sell, promote, distribute, or facilitate access to prescription drugs are not permitted.

Affiliate & Advertising Redirects (Official Domains vs. Custom Domains)

To reduce abuse, the following are not permitted on S.EE’s official domains (for example, links under s.ee):

  • Affiliate links or advertising redirect chains designed to disguise the destination
  • URL cloaking or destination concealment intended to mislead users or evade review

These behaviors may be permitted only on user-controlled Custom Domains, provided the use complies with this AUP, our Terms, and applicable law.

4. Sharing Features: Sensitive Data

When using Text Sharing or File Sharing, you must not share sensitive personal data such as government ID numbers, payment card data, bank account information, or medical information.

5. Enforcement

We may remove or disable access to content, links, redirects, files, or accounts that violate this AUP, our Terms, or applicable law. Repeated or severe violations may result in suspension or permanent bans as described in our Terms of Service.
