Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of S.EE (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use S.EE, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Create and maintain a valid account
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and rules

2. Acceptable Use Policy

The following content and activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Pornography or adult-oriented material
  • Gambling
  • Financial scams, phishing, fraud, impersonation
  • Malware, virus distribution, botnets, spyware
  • Political extremism or organized disinformation
  • Violence, hate speech, terrorism promotion
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized redistribution
  • Pyramid schemes or deceptive marketing
  • Unauthorized resale of the platform or accounts
  • Automated high-risk or harmful traffic generation
  • Any activity that degrades platform stability or security

We reserve the right to update the above categories to maintain platform integrity.

3. Username & Custom Slug Policy

Usernames and custom slugs created on S.EE must not infringe on trademarks or intellectual property rights.

If S.EE receives a credible infringement complaint regarding a username or slug — especially those that conflict with registered brands, public figures, or protected commercial names — we may reclaim, disable, or rename the identifier.

Whenever possible, we will notify the affected user and provide a chance to update their username or slug. However, in urgent or legally binding situations, we may take immediate action to comply with applicable regulations and prevent harm.

To avoid future disruption, users are responsible for ensuring that their selected usernames and custom slugs do not violate trademarks or intellectual property rights.

4. Custom Domains & Responsibility for Slugs

If a user links their own custom domain to S.EE and creates slugs under that domain, the user is solely responsible for all content, branding, and legal liability associated with those slugs.

S.EE does not review, monitor, or moderate custom domain slugs in advance, and we do not provide trademark verification or legal clearance services for custom domains.

If we receive a credible abuse or infringement complaint regarding a slug on a user-controlled domain, we may temporarily suspend redirects for the flagged slug to protect the platform and third parties. However, all legal responsibility for that slug — including disputes, trademark issues, and DMCA or copyright matters — remains with the domain owner.

By connecting a custom domain to S.EE, you agree that you are the publisher of all content accessible through that domain and its slugs.

5. Enforcement

We differentiate between incidental violations and systemic abuse:

Banned accounts are not eligible for refunds.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • 7-day unconditional refunds are supported, except when the user violates these Terms.
  • Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable.
  • Bank transfer payments are non-refundable.
  • Invoices and receipts may be downloaded from Stripe via the Billing & Usage page.
    Lifetime plan and business bank transfer users may request invoices via email.
  • All prices include tax.

7. Lifetime Plan Definition

The Lifetime plan applies for the full lifecycle of the S.EE service and guarantees a minimum of 10 years of continued service availability from the purchase date.

If the service is ever discontinued, Lifetime users will receive prorated compensation based on the remaining time within the 10-year minimum guarantee.

8. API Usage

API limits differ by subscription tier. Automated and bulk link creation is permitted only within the documented limits of each plan.

Exceeding rate limits, circumventing API restrictions, or degrading platform performance may result in temporary or permanent suspension.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate service access at any time to:

  • Protect system security and stability
  • Comply with law enforcement or regulatory requests
  • Address abuse or violation of these Terms

Users may delete their accounts at any time.

10. Liability

S.EE is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Zero downtime
  • Future feature compatibility
  • Accessibility of links across third-party platforms

Users are solely responsible for the safety and legality of the content they link to.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Any dispute or proceeding shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Delaware, United States.
